Personal Template is appearing blank when opening in Word 2016 but when I open the original it works
I have created a personal template in Word 2016 that doesn't appear to be working correctly, when I open the template from the personal option under New I am being presented with a blank document. However when I go to the original folder the template is stored in and right click open it from here I am able to see the template I have created with everything displayed.
The template I have created is based solely on a background image the rest of it is blank.
To create this:
I have used File > New > "Blank Document"
I added the background
I saved the document as a Word Template to C:(USERNAME)location DocumentsCustom Office Templates
Background: I have tried adding the image to this location also, I have updated the add-ins to see if this would make a difference, I have asked someone else to try the template on their computer but they are also having the same issue
Outcomes: I would need to be able to click on the personal option under New and select the relevant template, then open this without it appearing blank.
