ubuntu, why is windows network empty?

I can see computers if I browse network but no computers under Windows Network.
I tried wins server = yes in smb.conf with no success

  • What do you mean by "see"? Which program? What does smb.conf have to do with anything? Which Ubuntu? How do you detect "no success"? Are you running in a VM?
