My computer randomly freezes and the screen gets all that stiff on it and the computer does not unfreeze until I force shut it off (hold power button until it turns off) and turn it back on, and I cannot do that constantly because I am using this as a server I feel like the graphics driver might be the issue but I don't know what card I have all I know I'd I have am HP pavilion slimline s3700y with nvidia graphics card and an and athlon 2 core 64 bit processor and 3gb ram and 320 GB hdd

You might have a serious hardware problem. Have you tried running it under a different operating system, e. g. starting from a live disk/drive? Does it show the same behaviour then?
