Spotify web player crackles on Bionic
I have not installed, and do not want to install, the snap for Spotify, but I've been using the Web Player in Firefox. Unfortunately, I get a lot of crackling in the sound. It doesn't happen with anything else -- just Spotify. I have filmed it, and you can hear it here:
https://youtu.be/GM6x5d78xdM
I know the sound quality isn't that great, but a few seconds into the video you get a really good idea of the sound I'm describing. I would describe it as "static" or "crackling" or "noise."
At the time the video was filmed, Firefox was the only application I had launched, and Spotify was the only tab open. It doesn't happen all the time, and it will start and stop doing it at seemingly random times. It doesn't seem to depend on system load or uptime.

18.04 nvidia sound spotify
Firefox: 65.0+build2-0ubuntu0.18.04.1
Kernel: 4.15.0.45.47 (generic)
Probably some other important information is that I have an NVIDIA GTX 1080 which is outputting sound and video through HDMI to my TV. This is from lshw
