Unsure of Issue with venv

0

Reaching out to ask a question. I tried creating a venv file in atom. When I tried to use the command prompt to accomplish this, I did not succeed:

C:Usersusername> cd Desktopmy-sample-project>py -m venv venv
The system cannot find the path specified.

C:Usersusername>

Does anyone have a sense of what I did wrong? I am doing this as a part of a basic Flask course. Sorry to ask this; I am very confused about what the issue might be.

You seem to be trying to combine changing directories and running the py command all in one step. Just change into the directory first and then run your virtualenv command.
