I am having trouble inserting a new page in Microsoft Word 2013 edition. Whenever I try to insert a new page, half of the picture moves to the new inserted page.

Typically, a picture doesn't straddle a page boundary. There are a lot of things that determine where and how things move. E.g., keep with next, keep together, widow and orphan control, wrapping, etc. for text; location of object anchors, available space, etc. for images. For people to be able to help, we will need to see that. Turn on visibility for all formatting characters, and post a screenshot of the two pages involved. Also, list all of the page and paragraph format control settings.
