Permission error of Network user access to folder
I mount a folder on a NAS file server on my ubuntu machine using cifs
and the NAS account and it mounts the server folder and I have full access to it. Now I run a program which uses a folder on the mounted folder but at the same time it accesses the python on the local disk and then I get the error Errno 13 Permission denied
. If I tried to run the same program using the local hard drive it works fine, so I wonder whether the issue is that the NAS account don't have access to other folders on the machine? or that the local user don't have access somehow to the NAS folder? I'm confused if anyone could please advise me.
