Office 97 internal help on Windows 10
My Office 97 is working nicely on Windows 10. However, when I perform a help search this Microsoft support page is displayed in the Edge browser. The content is generic, with nothing relevant to my search. Also, Google Chrome is my default browser.
For example in Excel, searching for "STDEV" gives these results:

Looks good so far. But when STDEVA is clicked the above-mentioned web page is launched. Similar problem with help in Word.
Finally, I navigated to the installation folder (in my case C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice). Double-clicking any *.HLP file gives the same result (launching that page in Edge).
How do I get internal Office 97 help working on Windows 10?
