on screen keyboard wont appear in search field for chromium or firefox ubuntu 18.04
tried "sudo install onboard" with no success
appears for Activities "search" but does not appear for browsers "search" or text editor or libre office
is there a manual way to get the on screen keyboard to appearwhen i need it?

i found that in adding the extension 'Gnome Shell integration' to Firefox i could add an OSK button to the top pane to toggle the OSK on and off ~ it works
