Display text as overlay in VLC playlist

0

I'm launching VLC Media Player to play a bunch of CCTV video streams passed to it using Process.Start in C#. Each video needs to have the CCTV camera's location as overlay text. The VLC wiki says the marquee switch (--marq-marquee=<string>) can put text over the video; however, it's static text for all videos from what I'm seeing.

Is there any way via the command line to display different overlay text for each video in a VLC playlist? Thanks.
