Is it only me having very serious dns lookup slowness issues?

Thanks in advance!

And when it works, it's only in the first minutes after booting. And there is no sound as well (no detected audio card on whatever hardware i upgraded to 18.10) - perhaps is it supposed to have no internet and sound on Ubuntu anymore?
