After installing Ubuntu Mate, I would like to dual boot with windows 10 because of some compatibility issues. To do this I need to shrink the hard drive partition which I will do with the USB I used to install Ubuntu. But when I press F2, I don't get a choice to change boot order, it just loads into Ubuntu.

This relates to the BIOS, which loads before any operating system such as Ubuntu or Windows loads. This is not related to Ubuntu. Check BIOS settings.

  • The problem with that is that I use F2 to load into BIOS. But it won't load, it immediately loads into the OS
