Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Image cloned from Laptop to Server - How to keep USB Ports online over time
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
I ask you for advice:
I have installed Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Linux Mint 19) on my laptop. Everythings fine.
After this I have cloned the operating system to a new disc. I have installed that cloned disc in one of my servers.
This server is running 24x7 without any reboots. After some time the server switches off the usb ports. These ports do not get on again; no usb sticks, mice or whatever are working any more.
I have cloned that image to an other machine - same situation.
How to keep all usb ports online; without logical or physical power off?!
Kind regards,
Andreas
