I have attended mind tree drive a week ago. They verbally said that you're selected and after 2 days I got a mail like We are glad to confirm your Offer as Engineer. While our offer team is working on to roll out your detailed Offer Letter, kindly consider this mail as formal confirmation of your Offer. What to do....?
Thank you

put on hold as unclear what you're asking by SaggingRufus, Philip Kendall, Dukeling, gnat, HorusKol 9 hours ago

Please clarify your specific problem or add additional details to highlight exactly what you need. As it's currently written, it’s hard to tell exactly what you're asking. See the How to Ask page for help clarifying this question. If this question can be reworded to fit the rules in the help center, please edit the question.

  • I really hate closing question, so please edit this question. All we really need is 1) a goal we can address and 2) a question that makes more sense

They said they're working on an offer letter, so... wait for the offer letter? What do you mean what should you do? What should you do about what? Does this perhaps have something to do with When is the right time to give my notice to leave my current company?

  • Apparently "mind tree" is Mindtree, the name of a company based in India that does Information Technology (IT) - see en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mindtree. And also apparently a "drive" is an event where the company talks with potential employees (see eg freshersvoice.com/mindtree-off-campus-drive).

  • I'm with Dukeling, if you speak to them on the phone, say "Wow, thanks!" but at this point, there is not much you CAN do. About all you can do is wait until you get the detailed offer. Until you get that, you don't know if you will like the details and maybe you will want to decline the offer.

"What to do....? " - the only thing you can do is wait to receive your "formal Offer Letter". Once you receive that letter read it and understand what it says. Then if the offer meets your requirements, you formally accept and set up a start date.
