Freeze while shutdown ubuntu 18.04

I have lenovo IdeaPad 330 with Nvidia GeForce 2 gb graphic card and i am using Ubuntu 18.04 lts.. its a brand new laptop .. whenever i shutdown from Home screen or from terminal it stucks there every time .. then i have to press power button for some seconds in order to shutdown ..
I tried to do it forcefully too from terminal but its no changes still having problems.. help me out please i am new ubuntu lerner ..
And another problem is touchpad .. i tried all the possible ways which are available through out the internet but still not able to use laptop touchpad..
